Vineyard Update- November

It’s an exciting time at Tokar Estate, with Vineyard Manager Tim Scanlon leading the way to what’s shaping up to be a fantastic season. Tim, along with the skilled support of James, is dedicated to nurturing every vine in the vineyard, setting the stage for a harvest we’re truly looking forward to.

This season has been all about precision and care, and it’s paying off. Tim has been hard at work ensuring each part of the vineyard is tended with just the right balance of water, sunlight, and soil nutrients. His efforts are evident in the lush, green growth across the vineyard, despite an unusually dry October.

James has been a constant support, assisting with daily tasks from irrigation management to pest monitoring, helping to keep everything running smoothly. The vineyard as a whole is showing great promise, and we’re excited to see the results of this season’s careful efforts.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Tokar Estate. This season, Tim has implemented refined water management and soil health practices designed to reduce our environmental footprint while enhancing vine vitality. James has been instrumental in helping these efforts come to life, making sure our new practices are consistently applied.

Together, Tim and James are working toward a vineyard that’s not only productive now but well-prepared for future seasons. We’re proud of the sustainable steps we’re taking and the thoughtful approach guiding this season’s work. As always, we’re grateful for the support of our Tokar Estate community and look forward to sharing the results with you in the future.
