Shedfest Wine Festival
Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October
Shedfest is back in the Yarra Valley, and we’re celebrating all weekend at Tokar Estate with great wine, food, live music and plenty happening around the vineyard. Settle in for a relaxed spring afternoon with Tokar Estate wines, American-style BBQ, cocktails, local beer, live music and entertainment for the whole family.

Leon and Daniel Tokar will be back on the BBQ for Shedfest, serving up a relaxed American-style BBQ menu across the weekend. You loved the menu so much at Shortest Lunch that we thought we’d do it all again.

Find a spot on the lawn or beneath the pergola and settle in for live music, vineyard views and a relaxed afternoon at the Cellar Door.
There’ll be plenty happening for the kids too, with lawn games throughout the weekend.

Spring Wines & Cellar Door Favourites
Wine Tastings, Spritz & Drinks to Your Table
Our dedicated wine tasting area will be running throughout Shedfest, giving you the chance to explore a selection of Tokar Estate wines across the weekend. Expect plenty of spring favourites, including our Prosecco and Rosé, alongside a range of our cool-climate reds showcasing the style of the Yarra Valley.
A pop-up spritz bar will be serving refreshing spring cocktails with classic favourites like limoncello spirtz and aperol spritz with our own Tokar Prosecco.
Take a seat and grab a drink from our extended drinks list with Tokar Estate wines, beer, cocktails, soft drinks and non-alcoholic options. To make things even easier, you’ll be able to order drinks straight from your table using QR code ordering, so once you’ve found your spot, you can settle in and enjoy the afternoon, we'll come to you!

Do I need a ticket to visit Tokar Estate during Shedfest?
No ticket is required to visit Tokar Estate during Shedfest. However, we strongly encourage you to support our local winery neighbours and purchase a Shedfest ticket so you can enjoy the full weekend of festivities across the Yarra Valley.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome outdoors and must be kept on a lead at all times. We do ask that dogs are kept well away from the petting zoo area on Sunday.
What happens if it rains?
Shedfest at Tokar Estate is an all-weather event. Our large undercover pergola provides plenty of protection from the elements, and the event will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
Is parking available?
Yes. Overflow parking will be in place for the weekend. Shedfest is a very busy event, so we ask that you please be patient with our team when arriving and departing.
Do I need to book a table?
No. Seating is casual and unallocated, so simply arrive, find a spot and settle in for the afternoon.

Can buses and coaches access Tokar Estate?
Yes. Both smaller buses and full-size coaches are welcome. If you are arriving with a larger group or tour, please let us know in advance so we can help make arrival as smooth as possible.
Will the Tokar Estate Restaurant be open?
No. The Restaurant will be closed for the Shedfest weekend, with all food, wine, drinks and entertainment focused around the Cellar Door, pergola and lawn.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
We’ll have vegan meals available, along with gluten-free options. Please note that due to the nature of the event and shared preparation areas, we cannot guarantee meals are completely free from allergens.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
No. Outside food and drinks are not permitted. We’ll have plenty available throughout the weekend, including BBQ food, kids meals, Tokar Estate wines, beer, cocktails, soft drinks and non-alcoholic options.
